Messages of condolence

Gareth, you were such a dependable colleague and a fantastic academic - always positive, optimistic, and driven. I wish we had more time together, but I remain grateful for the time and memories we shared. May all who knew and loved you be comforted at this time. May your memory always be a blessing.

Gareth was a great colleague at the University of Bradford, very well-liked by his students and other colleagues, but most importantly: a fantastic friend to all of us. His warmth and laughter is greatly missed!

Dear Gareth, You will be truly missed. Thank you for being such an incredible mentor throughout my criminology course — your lectures were always engaging, inspiring, and unforgettable. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. Your impact will never be forgotten. - Alicia Purewal (student on criminology course)

Gareth was an amazing colleague, ally and friend. I got to know him through N-Able, first as a member and later as my co-chair. As an ally he fought for visibility, support and equality for disabled people. As a friend he brought honesty, positivity and laughter. I will miss him so much. Sending you all love and hugs.
